Palmeiras fans answer with the 1951 Copa Rio, a tournament FIFA agreed in 2014 to acknowledge as the first worldwide club competition, but which it still does not count as a club world title.

The dispute is a lesson in wording: FIFA’s 2014 minutes describe the Copa Rio as “the first worldwide club competition,” which is not the same as naming a world champion — and both sides have argued over that gap ever since.
