What does “julkkis” mean in Finnish?

In this Big Brother spoof, two “agents” hunt for the season’s secret stars: «Big Brother värvää tällä kertaa asukkaiksi vaan julkkiksia» (“this time Big Brother is recruiting only celebrities as housemates”). Julkkis is the casual Finnish word for a celebrity, clipped and softened from the formal julkisuuden henkilö (“public figure”).
