וולוג ניקיון בבית והפתעה לילדות
A2 Hebrew تدريب على الاستماع · العبرية المعيارية · مختار للمبتدئين
What does “kol hakavod” mean in Hebrew?
A mom turns a family cleaning day into a cheer-along, praising her daughters at every folded blanket: «כל הכבוד!» (“well done!”). כל הכבוד (kol hakavod) literally means “all the honor,” and it’s the all-purpose Israeli “bravo, good job, way to go.”
You’ll hear it for a child who tidied her room, an athlete who medaled, or a stranger who did the right thing. Its warmer cousin in the clip is אלופה (alufa, “champ,” literally “champion”), tossed at the kids like confetti. Pair kol hakavod with a thumbs-up and you sound instantly Israeli. The reward here, naturally, is שווארמה בפיתה.
