What does “szybki” mean and why does it change endings?

“Fast” in Polish is one word with three faces: szybki for masculine nouns, szybka for feminine, szybkie for neuter. The question running through this clip — Co jest szybkie? (“What is fast?”) — uses the neuter form because co (“what”) is neuter. The answers then switch endings to match each animal: gepard jest szybki, but światło jest szybkie — light is fast.
