What does “코디” mean in Korean?
코디 is everyday Korean for a put-together outfit — a “look.” It’s a clipped Konglish loanword from English “coordinate / coordination,” shortened to two syllables the way Korean loves to do. So 두 가지 코디 중에 고민 isn’t about scheduling anything; it means “deciding between two looks.” If you can match clothes, you can 코디 — the word doubles as a verb for styling, not just the result.
The full form 코디네이션 (codinaeisyeon) and 코디네이트 (codinaeiteu) exist, but daily speech almost always trims them to 코디. The same clip uses it for choosing between two outfits before a gender-reveal party — a staple of K-fashion and vlog talk. The word stretches further: 코디 can also name the stylist who coordinates a celebrity’s wardrobe, so a star’s 코디 is the person behind their looks. Pair it with 코디하다 (“to style/coordinate an outfit”) and you’ve got both the noun and the verb.
