Krótka, zabawna historia z życia i tańca
B1 Polish تدريب على الاستماع · البولندية · مختار لمن يرتاح في الحياة اليومية
What does “masakra” mean in Polish slang?
In this clip, someone reacts to a wild personal story with a single word: “Masakra, nie?” Literally “massacre,” but nobody’s talking violence — Poles reach for “masakra” whenever something is shockingly bad, chaotic, or simply too much, from a burnt dinner to bumper-to-bumper traffic. Context does the work: it can sound outraged, amused, or both at once.
You’ll hear it stand alone as a one-word exclamation (“Masakra!”), or tacked onto a story the way English uses “what a disaster” or “that’s insane.” It’s casual and skews younger and informal — save it for friends, not job interviews.
