Who are “De Verhulstjes” and why do they matter?
De Verhulstjes is the Belgian reality show following Marie and James, the children of Studio 100 co-founder Gert Verhulst. Gert built the empire behind K3, Samson, Plop, and Maya the Bee; his kids built parallel careers as a former K3 member (Marie) and a comedian-and-host (James). The show drops the camera into a Flemish-celebrity household where parents-grown-rich navigate adult kids who won’t outgrow them. Videoland streaming, Flemish-press fixture, gossip-magazine fuel.
