What does “termoochrona” mean in Polish?

Asked why she needs a spray before straightening her hair, she just names the product: “termoochrony” — heat protection. Polish builds compounds like this constantly, gluing a prefix like “termo-” (from Greek “thermos,” heat) straight onto an ordinary noun, no hyphen or space needed. Once you clock “termo-” as a piece, you can guess “termos” (thermos), “termometr” (thermometer), and “termostat” (thermostat) without ever looking them up.
