What does “sprachlos” mean in German?
“Sprachlos” describes the moment when you are so surprised or stunned that you have no words. It comes from “Sprache” (speech/language) plus “-los” (without), so literally “without speech.” The tone depends on the situation: in this clip the women laugh that they left the men sprachlos in a good, flattered way — but the same word works for bad news or being deeply moved.
